Designer
Chresten Sommer's designs should appeal to all genders and all ages. His designs follow several rules: they have to be simple, accentuate the aesthetics of wood and combine nature with sweet and childish expressions - and of course always be hand-turned. It is crucial to him that his characters have the right proportions and the right expression. He is only satisfied when he feels that this is his best design so far. It has always been the craft, and using his hands, that attracted him. And it was the fascination with the craft that 15 years ago led him to make wooden designs as a hobby.
